Saxon Hill School has been accredited by NAEYC since 1998. This continues to be a significant achievement as NAEYC is the most widely recognized professional organization in the nation. Every 5 years SHS undergoes a comprehensive process of internal self-study and external professional review to ensure that we meet the criteria for a High-Quality Early Childhood Program.
STep Ahead Recognition System
STARS is Vermont’s quality recognition system for childcare programs and preschools. The 1-5 rating system identifies programs that range from those in the early stages of self-assessment to those that display full implementation of early childhood best practices. We are proud to be a 5 STAR school and have been for many, many years.
